Good ideas are not enough
In more than a decade writing grant proposals as a professor, and five years selecting them for funding while working in the US Government, I learned a great deal about what separates successful proposals from those that go unfunded. Good ideas are necessary, but not sufficient. Every funding agency has a different mission and each view proposals through a slightly different lens that may be seem opaque to the uninitiated. Review processes differ, as do the key decision makers. Strategies and tactics that work well in one context may fail spectacularly in another.
Rockbluff Consulting works with investigators to develop strategies and tactics that increase the likelihood that a good idea translates into research funding.
Whether you need help marketing an idea to a specific agency, require a deep technical critique of a proposal, or something else, we can customize a solution to fit your needs.
